Accutron Branding
Accutron Instruments is a Sudbury company that manufactures and sells mine ventilation monitoring equipment across the globe. With such a global reach they wanted the company to have a brand that matches. All elements of the company from promotional material, to Linkedin, to the website has been updated to reflect a professional international business.
Promotional Material & Product Labels
The Accutron Instruments logo was the starting place for many of my design decisions. It had been updated before I came on board but everything else had been left largely dated. Over the years, I have designed brochures, flyers, manuals and various other print materials to convey the companies offerings in a clear manner. Since many of the products are fairly technical in nature, it was important for me to break down the complex into something that was easily marketable accross various markets.
Consistency is key, especially when it comes to our product labels. I have designed every product label to function well for the individual product, while still being distinctly Accutron branded.
Logo Design
I have designed a few different logos during my time at Accutron but the InfoScript logo stands out to me as a particular challenge. We wanted a logo for our industrial LED screen that would describe the product visually. It was important to me that it be versatile and able to be printed in a single colour.
The final product to market
After many iterations we landed on the version with a screen built into the "I" in the name.
Videos
Video creation has been an important part in explaining more complex Accutron products and systems. This video was created using CAD models of the products and a mine tunnel that I modelled. I brought my modelled sceens into Keyshot and used the animation tool to create clips. I brought all the clips together in Premier Pro, adding stock animations and text to the final video.
