Website UI/UX Design

The Accutron Instruments website has been a lot of fun to work on. When I first started updating it, it was a very basic WordPress Site with some basic coded pages and a little bit of SEO. Over the years I have updated every page to reflect the current company brand.

UI/UX Design

The original website had not been updated in a while and was missing some important products and pages. This was the perfect opportunity to make sure the website flowed well and gave visitors a clear idea of what the company was all about. I planned out the website structure and the page templates to give consistency.

A New Website

Since I do not have a background in coding, I use a program called Elementor for designing pages in WordPress. This plugin allows me to create the designs I want using a visual website builder. The Accutron home page went through quite a bit of change. The old website was disorganized and lacking brand continuity. I made sure to implement a hierarchy for the homepage. Starting with what we do, the various product categories and then highlighted new products. This change has caused an increase in website views and increased page engagement.

Product Pages

The product pages were a bit more of a challenge. I wanted each product page to follow the same format while still highlighting the features of each product. Some Accutron products are much more complex than others so it was important that the page template be flexible at the same time. After a few iterations, this design proved the best so far to highlight product features, value and specs in an easy to consume format. Check out the updated website at the link below!
